  2. Mick, I dont have it down pat yet, I need to get a proper stencil kit off ebay, at present Im just making it up, using hands or store bought cardboard ones. The sea is my brother is the title of Jack Kerouac's unpublished ( until recently ) memoirs of his time in the merchant navy. The papa pull the line from the ether and bought the phrase to life with continous usage in his projects.

  3. Kerouac, William S. Burroughs, the "Beat Generation": Those post WWII intellectuals that had experienced life and society and found it wanting.

I have always amused myself that many people think of "Beat Generation" in terms of music when in fact it really means Beat(up)-generation like the survivors of the Pacific campaign. Beat, but not broken. The greatest generation, really.

I appreciate greatly, "The Sea is my Brother Theme".
